Tibetan singing bowl with bajra etching of Buddhist symbols and mantras.

The process of etching involves mild diluted dyes which are used to cut into unprotected parts of the metal surface to create a design on the metal. Firstly, plain singing bowls are cleaned and a mixture of dyes and ash from firewood is used to write or draw designs upon the bowls. They are then kept under special supervised environment after which an etched line or design is left behind.


Comes in a set with green, ring, Tibetan fabric cushion and high quality handcrafted rosewood mallet.
