Special Tibetan mantra singing bowl made with high quality brass. The inner bottom has intricate and detailed hand carving of the Om mantra while the outer body is etched with the symbols of the Asthamandala.

The process of etching involves mild diluted dyes which are used to cut into unprotected parts of the metal surface to create a design on the metal. Firstly, plain singing bowls are cleaned and a mixture of dyes and ash from firewood is used to write or draw designs upon the bowls. They are then kept under special supervised environment after which an etched line or design is left behind.

Comes in a set with red ring Tibetan fabric cushion and handcrafted rosewood mallet.
