A zabuton is traditionally used under a zafu cushion to provide comfort and support when practicing sitting meditation. Zabutons are stuffed with kapok, an all-natural, sustainable fiber. 4″ stuffing loft. Fabric used is 100% Organic cotton. Size 32″ x 32′. This zabuton is unique in that it comes with a zippered 100% organic cotton liner at no additional charge. This allows neat and easy access for adding or removing the kapok stuffing. And, when the zabuton’s outer cover needs washing, simply pull the liner out and wash the cover! All Zabutons are serged and top stitched for maximum durability. The zafu has been used in the practice of zen meditation for thousands of years. Often translated as ‘sewn seat’, the name actually means ‘seat made from cattails’. A zafu is sat upon during meditation to create a comfortable and stable body alignment for deep meditation. Typically a zabuton is paired with the zafu for ultimate comfort. Size 15″ diameter, 9″ high. Fabric used is 100% organic cotton. Zafus are serged and top stitched for maximum durability.
