I purchased the large mat sak a few years ago in a green/olive color, and I love it. So, I ordered one for a friend’s birthday, in “graphite.” The bag looks like it is as high-quality as mine, but I am very disappointed because it appears to be brown, not a dark gray/charcoal shade like I thought. It is dark here so I will check in the morning in natural light, but will probably end up exchanging this for another color.

I bought this bag because my Manduka Pro Long mat is quite heavy and difficult to carry by hand for other than a very short distance. When the bag arrived, I was convinced my mat wouldn’t fit, but, alas, this bag is a lot bigger than it looks! I was pleasantly suprised that it fits with no problems AND there is an extra pocket on the outside that runs the length of the bag for small other stuff like a towel, keys, wallet, lighweight shirt, etc. Now I can carry my mat much more easily and sling it over my shoulder. Really nice bag, a little pricey, but worth it and looks like it will hold up really well.

After ruining two yoga bags with my large manduka mat, I finally decided to bite the bullet and pay more for a bag directly from manduka. The bag is plenty roomy enough for the thick manduka mat and has an extra large zipper pocket that fits my wallet, phone and a change of clothes.

I was having trouble fitting my mat in the Mat Sak. I contacted customer service online and they called the next workday to help me out with the solution. The Mat Sak is a great product and the customer service is beyond all expectations.
